Today we continue our string of shorts culled from the documentary footage for “DUST: the Art of Sampling,” this time chopping it up with legendary Chopped-and-Screwed DJ (and co-founder of Swishahouse and the Chop Stars) OG Ron C at a DJ Screw retrospective at the University of Houston.

Now would also be a good time for a project update. Though “DUST” was originally slated to be released this past summer, we have now partnered on the project with sample-based music platform Legitmix so that the scope of the documentary can include even more artists and personalities. This is truly a unique and exciting collaboration for both teams which will result in one of the most-thorough explorations of sampling ever produced.
